The Donegal County Council (Burtonport Harbour Redevelopment) Compulsory Purchase Order 2019 has been confirmed without modification by Order of An Bord Pleanala dated 14th June 2021. The CPO relates to lands situate at Burtonport and as so confirmed it authorises the Council to acquire permanently for the purposes of redevelopment of Burtonport Harbour including all associated works involved, the land described in the schedule to the CPO and further shown on the map deposited therewith. The Council has now published and served Notice of Confirmation of the making of the Order in accordance with Section 78 (1) of the Housing Act 1966 and Section 217 (5) of the Planning and Development Act, 2000. It will become operative three weeks from the date of publication of the Notice of Confirmation.
